He is the author of “Building Insanely Great Products” and “Foundations in the Successful Management of Products”, in addition to a series of courses that teach the entire product management lifecycle

Ripe time for product managers
David Fradin pointed out that India presents enormous potential for developing new product managers or ‘product success managers’ who are the primary people responsible for product success. According to David, product failures are costing the world around half a trillion dollars and this can be controlled by efficient product management.
Having worked with the top management at companies like Himalaya, Samsung and Bosch, David said that Indian firms have realised the importance of having good product managers and are relying on their expertise to do better product planning. “Efficient product management is crucial for the success of products”, he said.

Sharing a mix of knowledge and experience acquired over the years in developing and managing products, David Fradin led the seminar by outlining the most important aspects of becoming a good product manager and how it applied to the Indian markets.
From having a strong vision and value for your company to focusing on what a product must offer to the customers with his six keys to success model (SPICES), David enlightened the students with practical and theoretical aspects of product management.
